Architectural/Engineering Services - Chesapeake Career Center, Chesapeake, VA
The District requires professional architectural and engineering services for replacement of the existing Chesapeake Career Center. The District reserves the right to select one (1) or more qualified architectural firm(s) to meet our need for a new facility. The Project is intended to provide a facility with a programmed capacity of 700 students at any given time. It is anticipated that there will be a morning set of classes and an evening set of classes, consisting of 700 students each. It will include professional services for programming, design, construction documents, special inspections, and contract administration for all building and site improvements. The design will need to incorporate support for the installation of technology, infrastructure, and hardware being provided by other proposers to meet the Districts standards. The A/E will work with the District to develop programmatic requirements and design concepts that support the most current accepted practices for preparing a future ready workforce with the skills to succeed in their chosen pathways. The A/E will also be expected to design spaces that will provide the greatest amount of adaptability for changes to the facilitys programming as the Districts needs evolve.
Pump Station #100 Replacement, Chesapeake, VA
The Work under this Project consists of the installation of approximately 30 LF of 4-inch discharge pipe and approximately 20 LF of 8-inch influent gravity sewer. This project will also include the installation of new rail-mounted submersible pumps and a wet well, wet well connections, separate valve vault, control panel and other associated improvements, as well as demolition of the existing pump station.
Water Storage Tank Repair Services, Chesapeake, VA
The City of Chesapeake is soliciting bids from fully qualified bidders to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to clean, paint, and provide structural improvements and repairs to raw and finished water storage tanks as per applicable drawings and specifications. The tanks include both concrete and steel storage tanks. The objective of this solicitation is to complete repairs to the Citys storage tanks based on inspection reports provided by the City pertaining to each tank.
