The County of Louisa is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide recycling disposal services. The bidders should have a facility within fifty (50) miles of the Town of Louisa, Virginia. The materials will be transported to the facility by County staff and equipment for handling and recycling. All recyclable materials shall be recycled and detailed recycling weight reports per material classification shall be submitted to the County on a monthly basis. Recyclable materials include, but are not necessarily limited to, commingled recyclables (newspaper, mixed paper, plastic, aluminum, and glass), cardboard and mattresses/box springs.

The County of Louisa invites qualified contractors to submit bids for providing fire alarm monitoring services. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, parts and materials, supervision, and all other incidentals required and/or implied for the complete and satisfactory performance of monitoring services of the Countys fire alarm systems. The County of Louisa reserves the right to reject services from any personnel deemed by the County to be unqualified, disorderly, or otherwise unable to perform assigned work. Monitoring services of fire alarm systems shall be provided on a 24 hour/7 days per week/365 days per year basis and performed in strict accordance with all applicable codes, regulations and standards. The awarded bidder shall provide to the County a list of all the zones and signals they monitor for each building and supply them to the County thirty (30) days after they have received a fully executed contract.
