The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) certified Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) Playground Chips that can be blown into playgrounds with a self-contained blower truck at all the playground sites the City maintains. The City reserves the right to add and/or remove sites from the contract as needed throughout the contract term(s).

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is requested for Construction Management at Risk (CMaR) services for the development of a new Copeland Park Pumping Station for Newport News Waterworks. The new facility should provide a firm pumping capacity of 12 million gallons per day, incorporate modern building construction methods, current codes, industry standards, and best practices, and integrate seamlessly with the existing 5milliongallon water storage tank located on-site.

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for the provision of all Work and Materials for the completion of the 60th Street Piping and Jefferson Avenue Pump Station Project, in accordance with the specifications of this IFB. The project includes providing and replacing approximately 1,929 linear feet of CIP within Warwick Blvd, as well as replacing piping between the 60th Street Complex and Jefferson Avenue beneath the CSX Railroad property. The Jefferson Avenue Booster Pump Station will be disconnected from the distribution system, with demolition, removal, and installation of new valves and ductile iron piping.

The project involves decommissioning and abandoning the brackish groundwater wells that previously served the Lee Hall Reverse Osmosis Facility and are no longer in use. The work consists of decommissioning six wells, including pump removal, well grouting, and the removal of electrical components and select mechanical equipment.
