Description

Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Replace AHUs at Duncan and College Services project at Virginia Western Community College, Project Code # 260-B5260-023 (M23VW131) located in Roanoke, Virginia. The project is generally described as the demolition and removal of several pieces of rooftop-mounted HVAC equipment from Duncan Hall, Craig Hall, and the College Services Buildings and the subsequent replacement of the same at those locations. The work includes the demolition, removal, and replacement of the associated equipment roof curbs; the limited demolition, removal, and replacement of adjacent membrane roofing and roof insulation; the limited demolition, removal, and replacement of associated HVAC service piping and ductwork; the demolition, removal, and replacement of an existing domestic water heater in the College Services Building; and the provision of Direct-Digital Controls (DDC) for the replacement equipment along with integration into existing campus control systems.
