The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide general and specialized engineering services. Work will consist primarily of design and contract administration for water distribution and sanitary sewer collection, water treatment and wastewater treatment projects as well as Solid Waste (Landfill) Engineering and support services. Landfill services include landfill gas management and groundwater monitoring related to a solid waste disposal operation. Other areas of specialized engineering work include, but are not limited to environmental management, stormwater management and Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) permitting as well as future county transportation and site development and construction projects.

The Town of Bridgewater, Virginia, is soliciting proposals for solid waste collection in Bridgewater, Virginia. The Town of Bridgewater currently utilizes a third-party contractor to provide solid waste collection services, with collection occurring on Mondays for one half of the Town and on Tuesdays for the remaining half.

Bridgewater Crosswalk Improvement Projects (the Project) are located in the Town of Bridgewater, Virginia. Scope: There are two crosswalk projects included in the project: VHSIP Pedestrian Crosswalk Main Street (UPC 122967) consists of the installation of a crosswalk and pedestrian refuge island on Main Street (Route 42) near Generations Park, along with RRFB crosswalk signals. VHSIP Pedestrian Safety Improvements (UPC 125448) consists of the installation of two RRFB crosswalks signals. One crosswalk is located on Dinkel Avenue between 100 and 105 Dinkel, adjacent to Blue Ridge Christian School. The other crosswalk is located on Mt. Crawford Avenue at Naomi Lane, connecting to the existing Gen Oak Connector path near Oakdale Park.
