The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to establish contracts with one or more firms for the removal of disaster-generated vegetative debris and construction debris. Services under this contract may also include management of one or more Debris Management Sites, reduction of and/or final disposal of all storm-generated debris, and other emergency clean-up activities associated with a hurricane, storm, tornado, or other natural or manmade disaster event.

The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain bids from qualified contractors to provide Best Management Practices (BMP) services for storm water facilities and related landscaping on an as needed basis at various locations within the City of Suffolk. The Contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, fuel, transportation, certifications, permits, and fees required to perform the work.

Provide all plant, labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and other ancillary items necessary, as identified in these Contract Documents, in order to complete the Suffolk Citywide Signal Timings and Equipment Installation to the limits shown on the drawings and in accordance with all specification, terms, conditions, and drawings herein. Work will include all ACCEPTANCE TESTING in accordance with the VDOT LAP manual. All bidders must be qualified at the time of bid through VDOTs pre-qualification process.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to establish contracts with one or more firms for the monitoring of disaster-generated vegetative debris and construction debris. This will include initiating load tickets at debris loading sites, estimating the volume of debris (in cubic yards or other unit of measurement) being delivered by trucks to each debris reduction/disposal site and the roving debris monitors.

The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to hire one contractor to furnish and deliver annual requirements of Class A Concrete on an as needed basis F.O.B. to any destination within the City of Suffolk limits in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein. This contract will cover all materials as needed by the Citys Public Works Department (primary user), Public Utilities Department, Parks and Recreation Department, or as requested by any other City department. A separate account must be set up for each department. Contractor must be a ready mix producer who operates a batch plant. Contractor must be capable of delivering concrete in mobile mixing trucks.
