The objective of the project is to increase reliability, redundancy and capacity of the electrical system at Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant (SEP) by upgrading the existing 12 kV primary feed from Hunters Point switchyard and obtaining a new 12 kV feed from Potrero switchyard to provide redundancy for SEP facilities. Contract work consists of constructing a new two-story building over the existing switching station to house the new primary switchgear. In addition, aging substations will be replaced and new power monitoring and control system will be installed for additional reliability and efficiency. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
