The existing storm pipe network near 5280 North Powers Ferry Road is in need of replacement. The existing pipe network comprises of an existing 36” Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) as well as a 24” CMP that convey a stream near the property. These pipes and a junction box will be removed and the streambanks restored. In addition, there is an 18” CMP pipe that drains the cul-de-sac and discharges into the same network. The existing pipe will be replaced with 18” Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) with a new precast manhole and headwall. Additionally, the double-wing catch basin at North Powers Ferry Road will be replaced. Associated design elements include replacing damaged curb and gutter as well as installing and maintaining sediment control measures per approved plans number PW19- 00003 R1. The selected contractor shall be able to start work within ten (10) calendar days after the “Notice to Proceed” is issued. The time of completion for the project is ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the “Notice to Proceed.” Bonds will be required for this project.
