Construction of Student Housing TIU Phase 2 includes modifications to existing Telecommunications Rooms, electrical power for telecommunications, grounding for the telecommunication systems, floor and wall mounted communications racks and cabinets, communications cable tray, communications horizontal station cabling using new and existing pathway, placement of University furnished wireless access points at interior and exterior locations, demolition of existing communications riser and horizontal station cabling, demolition of existing broadband video system. Work will be required to be performed over the Summer break and completed in time for student move-in for Fall quarter. Contract time is estimated at 192 days. An early completion bonus may apply, detailed information is contained in the bidding documents. Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid as security for Bidder's obligation to enter into a Contract with University on the terms stated in the Bid Form and to furnish all items required by the Bidding Documents. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
