The County’s intent is to invite licensed small-sized General Contractors and Tradesmen to act as Independent Contractors for horizontal and vertical projects, including a broad range of maintenance, repair, minor construction work on real property and facilities in the County, including but not limited to: • Site work/Drainage Improvements/Landscaping • Parking lot re-surfacing, sealcoating, grading and paving • Traffic Sign/Barricade Rentals • Debris hauling/trucking. • Interior construction (Remodel, Carpentry, Demolition) • Concrete/Masonry • Plumbing/Rooter • HVAC • Painting • Overhead Door Repairs • Tree Removal Service/chipping • Landscaping • Data and Telecom Cabling/ Data Rack Deployment/Security Systems • Signage • Roofing • Moving companies The County will request quotes for projects from the vendors who have requested to perform those certain services. Price and availability will determine the vendor selection per project. The Term of this contract will be for five years. Small businesses and women and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals for these contracts. 1.1 Bonding will not be required. 1.2 A contract will be prepared and signed by both parties. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
