It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe a range of specialty engineering services needed by the County of Alameda General Services Agency (GSA) that includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Feasibility studies and technical research including project scoping and development, site studies, functional programming, and planning; Best value design and/or value engineering; Development of budgets, cost estimates, and schedules; Production of concept designs, design criteria, and bridging documents; Design production through final design and construction documents; and Construction administration services, including responding to requests for information. The County intends to award a three-year contract, with option to renew for an additional two years in increments of the County’s choosing, to a pool of up to five (5) Consultants per category that are selected as the most responsible/responsive Proposers whose proposal conforms to the RFP and meets the County’s requirements for planning, design, and construction projects pursuant to the terms of the County’s approved services agreement.
