The scope of work consists of demolishing interior and exterior building components in one (1) of two units at a duplex building, Unit #170, located at Bridgemont Public Housing Development, 818 9th Street, in Antioch, CA. Unit #170 is a three-bedroom unit. The work consist of all walls and ceiling (kitchen and bathroom ceiling shall remain with smooth finish) to receive new "medium orange peel" texture, one (1) coat of prime and two (2) coats of finish paint; floor cover overlay; removal and replacement of all kitchen cabinets, countertops and accessories; removal and replacement of bathroom vanities and accessories; cleaning and maintenance of existing water heater and central air- forced heating system; removal and replacement of all existing windows; professional refinishing of existing tubs, re-grouting and caulking existing tile tub surrounds; recessing all surface mount electrical outlets and bringing them to code standards; removal and replacement of electrical fixtures; removal and relocation wallmount bedroom light fixtures; new combination smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors as per current uniform building code requirements; install new wall mount airconditioning unit; retro-fit existing plumbing with additional water service lines, new plumbing drain, vent and electrical outlets to accommodate stacked washer and dryer at new location; removal and replacement of all damaged interior doors and fames with pre-hang interior doors; cleaning, preparing and painting all exterior surfaces of the duplex building; general clean-up and disposal; and other miscellaneous work.
