The general scope of work includes, but not limited to: traffic control, removal and reconstruction of existing ADA ramps with retaining curbs and yellow truncated domes; removal and reconstruction of deficient sidewalks; restriping of existing crosswalks with a high-visibility continental design; addition of landscaping to islands; realignment of existing crosswalks to align with the proposed conversion of Hood Avenue into a one-way street; installation of HAWK beacon systems; installation of pedestrian scramble crosswalk striping; traffic signal modifications to create a separate pedestrian scramble cycle; and other improvements as shown on Plans and described in these specifications.
