Bldg. 2M Room 117 is currently used as a recording studio. The district approved to upgrade the recording studio to provide students with the most currently technology. The scope of work includes the installing drywall on top of the existing wall for additional soundproof , patch and painting all walls. Remove two existing double doors. Fill in the existing door opening and install one new door and hardware with access control. Electrical and HVAC upgrades. Remove and replace existing ceiling tiles and lighting. Pre-qualification required. Pre-qualification application package due by May 17, 2024, packages should be emailed to purconstruction@mtsac.edu. DVBE goal is 3%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
