It is the City’s intent to solicit Contractor services to install City-owned playground equipment at Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex located at 1901 Clinton Street, Madera, CA 93638. The playground equipment consists of a Playcraft Systems’ Custom Round-5-Modular Playsystem and a Standard PC-1501 Off-Roader. The specific playground area at Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex in need of playground equipment installation is located near the park pavilion area, on the southside of the park. Either the playground equipment will be assembled and installed by or under the direct supervision of an individual who is authorized by the manufacturer to assemble and install the equipment or, prior to its first use, the playground equipment will be inspected by a Citydesignated Certified Playground Safety Inspector, CPSI, who shall certify to the City in writing that the equipment, insofar as it can be seen without disassembling it or digging into the surfacing, is in compliance with all requirements. The playground area is approximately 2,855 square feet, with a surrounding wrought-iron fence surrounding the play area at approximately 215 linear feet. The City is seeking to refurbish the existing fencing which may consist of replacing pickets and painting the fence. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
