The FY 2023-24 Water Valve Replacement project will replace water valves, water valve clusters, and associated appurtenances throughout the City ranging from 6 inches to 10 inches in diameter. No bid will be received unless it is made on a bid form which is included as part of the Special Provisions for the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by cash or a cashier’s check or a certified check, or a satisfactory bid bond issued by a California admitted surety insurer in the form as included in the bid documents, in any event in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. Construction surveying and staking will be provided by the Contractor. The Contractor must obtain a Right-of-Way Permit from the City, at no cost, before construction begins. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
