The Contractor shall provide as-needed graffiti and illegal sign abatement services in the unincorporated areas of the County of San Diego (County). While businesses have the right to advertise using signage, certain signs require a permit or are illegal. Graffiti is also illegal and negatively impacts communities’ perception of safety and quality of life. At the direction of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), the Contractor shall paint over and/or remove illegal or unauthorized signs and graffiti from all structures, walls, and surfaces on private and County-owned property. Locations for abatements and removal will vary and could include any location within the entire unincorporated area of the County from the border of Mexico to Riverside and Imperial County lines.
