The project consists of the removal, weighing, and transport of biosolids at the City of Escalon Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) for lawful disposal off-site at a land application facility. Biosolids are from tomato and bell pepper processing waste. Biosolids to be removed are located in Pond 1 and Pond 2 of the WWTF at 25100 E. River Road, Escalon, CA. The City will be responsible for diverting effluent to another pond on site, decanting the ponds, and for drying the biosolids in each pond. The work shall be conducted in a manner as to allow the continuous operation of the Wastewater Treatment Facility. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
