The County of Sonoma is seeking qualified individuals, firms, or multi-disciplinary teams to assist the Permit and Resource Management Department (Permit Sonoma) to complete the first phase of a General Plan Update for Sonoma County which includes outreach and engagement activities, an audit of the existing General Plan 2020 and components, and the creation of a timeline and budget for the second phase of the project. The first phase of the General Plan Update will culminate with a recommendation to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and a request for Board direction to proceed with a defined scope for the second phase of the project to include the General Plan update, with the necessary appropriations to complete the work.
