The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) is a Special District within the State of California that owns, maintains, and operates passenger rail service in Sonoma County and Marin County. In addition to passenger rail service, SMART is a common carrier that owns and operates freight rail services within Sonoma County, Marin County, and Napa County. SMART is seeking Proposals from qualified, licensed Contractors to provide as-needed tree service, including trimming, removal, stump grinding, and related arborist services along the entire SMART railroad and pathway rights-of-way and facilities located in Marin, Napa, and Sonoma Counties. The Service Provider will be required to respond promptly to requests for urgent tree removal or maintenance activities and to provide services for the coordination and execution of planned projects. Service Provider shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation for the work performed as part of this Agreement. SMART will award one contract with a total not-to-exceed amount of $200,000 and a maximum period of performance through June 30, 2029, including all amendments. This Agreement does not have a minimum or maximum amount of work guaranteed. This Agreement may be funded using Federal, State or Local Funds. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
