Sonoma State University is seeking bidders for the replacement of the chiller on the Schulz Information Center roof. Scope of work is including but not limited: Provide labor, equipment and materials to replace the existing failed McQuay chiller on the roof of Schulz Information Center. (See Appendix A-B). Disconnect, remove and dispose of the existing McQuay roof chiller appropriately. (Model # AGZ065AS27-ER10) (See Appendix C). Recover any remaining refrigerant (R-22) from McQuay chiller and dispose of properly. Furnish and install new Dunham-Bush Air Cooled Chiller (See Appendix D): Model #: ACDSSO40ARBS, Quantity: 1, Unit power supply: 460V/3ph/60Hz, Refrigerant: R-454b low GWP Refrigerant, Unit to include Scroll Compressors, Direct Drive Condenser Fan Motors, Unit to include Water Flow Switch: field installed, NEMA 4-shipped loose, and Includes 5 year compressor warranty. Crane a new unit onto the roof and set it in place during early morning hours to avoid high traffic on campus. (See Appendix E for crane route). Connect associated piping, electrical and building maintenance controls. (See Appendix F and photos 1-3). Provide manufacturer startup and testing with a report that the unit is working per manufacturer specifications. Test and ensure Building Maintenance Systems (BMS) controls are working with the new chiller. DVBE goal is 3%. Prevailing wages.
