The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced construction contractors for the construction of a retaining structure that will be used to support the trail edge that is sloughing into Boulder Creek. The project site is located at 40000 Boulder Canyon Drive, Boulder, CO 80302. These services are required in order to return the trail to eight (8) feet wide and solve a safety concern. Engineering design has been completed by JVA Inc (JVA). Construction will be required to follow the stamped drawings. A representative from JVA will periodically be on site for construction oversite. A floodplain development permit has been received, as the project is located in the floodway. All work is required to be completed during the 2024 calendar year. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
