Total Small Business Set-Aside, 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. • Install variable frequency drives (VFDs) and associated equipment on the three main condenser water (CW) pumps in the Cheyenne Mountain Complex (CMC). • Remove the one exiting VFD and return to government. • VFDs will be installed on adjacent wall inside Power Center 14. • All electrical wiring will be feed under floor in conduit from pump to VFD. Approximately 15 feet each. • A portion of this requirement is located in a confined space, all workers must have current training and certification to enter a confined space. • Installation will be staged so that a minimum of one pump is constantly in operation. • VFDs will require NEMA-4 protection. • VFDs will require embedded input/output contacts to be connected to the existing Delta Automation Control System for start/stop, speed, status, fault, and alarm. • Requires DDC (direct digital control) programming of the existing Delta Automation Control System for proper redundancy operation. • Point to point check out, sequence of operation, and training will be conducted with on site industrial control technicians. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
