This project consists of furnishing all needed materials, equipment, labor and supervision to complete work associated with improvements to County Road 229S that shall generally include approximately 7 miles of shoulder reconstruction for the Base Bid and Optional Bid combined. The work also includes maintenance of traffic, erosion control earthwork, asphalt pavement, drainage, guardrail, sod, pavement marking and other miscellaneous items to complete the project. The bidder must submit a complete bid as partial bids will not be accepted by Baker County (County). Prequalification of Bidders by the Florida Department of Transportation will be required for this project. A valid certificate of qualification issued by the Florida Department of Transportation will be required in Work Type(s) – Grading and Flexible Paving. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
