The Hillsborough County Facilities Management and Real Estate Services Department is seeking competitive bids from experienced and qualified suppliers with a proven and documented track record of providing miscellaneous facilities construction projects. It is anticipated that the work to be performed under this Contract will include up to moderately complex construction and renovation required by the County at any of its various facilities and sites. The work may include, but will not be limited to, the following types of work: Interior building repairs and renovations, Re-roofing, Exterior building repairs and renovations, Site work/utilities/landscaping, Electrical/mechanical/plumbing work, and special construction. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the accomplishment of all work as described in the Specifications, as shown on Plans if provided, and as directed by the Project Manager in accordance with the expressed or obvious intent of the Contract. See Attachment A - Special Conditions. In connection with this solicitation and its resulting Contract, a goal of 12% has been established for participation by DM/DWBEs as Subcontractors. See section for DM/DWBE Participation Goal. Bonds required.
