The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified professional consulting firms with a proven and documented track record of providing Professional Engineering and Software Services to support the modernized Traffic Management Center, and Smart Transportation System Operations, and Technology initiatives. The mission of the Traffic Management Center program (TMC) is to support the management, and operation of a smart transportation system that results in more efficient vehicle travel, improved safety, and enhanced mobility for all transportation users within the Hillsborough County community. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Professional Engineering and Software Services to support a modernized traffic management center, and operation of a smart transportation system. The support services will be provided on an as needed basis. This service contract will provide traffic signal engineering services in support of the following TMC programs: • Signal System Operational Monitoring & Control • Connected Emergency Vehicle Signal Priority & Preemption • Traffic Incident Detection, Support & Management • Smart Work Zone Traffic Control • Connected Traveler Information • Dynamic Signal Retiming, Phasing & Coordination • Regional TMC Communication and Integration • Transit Signal Priority • Connected & Autonomous Vehicle Support Prevailing wages.
