The Work consists of rehabilitation and improvements to the existing 48-inch and 42-inch diameter Pequannock Aqueducts. This work includes but is not limited to the selective demolition of the existing air release valve chambers, demolition of the existing air release valves, piping and appurtenances. Proposed improvements include the furnishing and installing of new air and vacuum release valves, piping and appurtenances, new concrete chambers, site and access improvements, grading and restorations at nine (9) separate sites. Aqueduct rehabilitation and spot repairs on existing 72-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) segments, and concrete slab modifications are also to be performed. Contract Do Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
