The Port of Portland (the “Port”) is soliciting proposals from experienced firms or teams of firms (the “Provider or Providers”) capable of providing services to the Port on the Request for Proposal (RFP) Concession FOG Program. The Port intends to award one or more highly qualified Provider(s) up to a potential 5-year contract. Other Details The Port of Portland (the “Port”) at Portland International Airport (PDX) has made a commitment to removing as many fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from the wastewater stream as possible. The approach starts at the source with its Food & Beverage tenants and includes using grease waste buckets, primary interceptors connected to all drains, and secondary interceptors located on the airfield. Work associated with the PDX FOG program will need to be completed around a 24/7 operation which includes work that will be complete on an active airfield. This work is crucial to the overall maintenance of the infrastructure at PDX and completed in away congruent to PDX high standard and commitment to environmental responsibility.
