The Virginia Department of Transportation herein referred to as “VDOT” is soliciting bids from qualified firms to perform unplanned mechanical tree pruning, small tree removal and brush removal services in accordance with the specifications herein, within the Bristol District Primary and Secondary Routes. This contract will be awarded in three (3) lots. Bidders may bid on one or more lots. If a Bidder is successful in being awarded multiple lots, they must provide necessary services and equipment as specified for each lot, simultaneously. Lot 1 (Region 1) includes the following Counties: Wise, Dickenson, Lee, and Scott; Lot 2 (Region 2) includes the following Counties: Russell, Buchanan, Tazewell, and Washington; Lot 3 (Region 3) includes the following Counties: Wythe, Grayson, Smyth, and Bland. SBE goal 42%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
