The City of Charlottesville is accepting bids for the Jackson-Via School Cooling Tower Replacement. Project Description: •Removal of existing cooling tower including existing pump, associated piping, electrical wiring, and controls wiring. •Installation of new cooling tower on new elevated piers and beams, including new associated piping, electrical wiring, and controls wiring. •Modification of existing concrete pad and sump pit. •Construction of new pump house containing installation of new electrical panels, transformer, pumps, variable frequency drives, electric ceiling heater, exhaust fan, including new associated piping, electrical wiring, and controls wiring. •Construction of new retaining wall and new fencing surrounding new cooling tower. Bonds required.
