Fairfax County is soliciting pre-bid qualification applications for the construction of the Dogue Creek Tributary at Greendale Golf Course Stream Restoration (DC9214) & WP0213 Dredging project, located in Fairfax County’s Franconia District at 6700 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310. Only firms that have been pre-qualified in accordance with the procedures in the Pre-qualification Application will be eligible to submit bids for this project. The Dogue Creek Tributary at Greendale Golf Course Stream Restoration (DC9214) & WP0213 Dredging project will provide stable self-maintaining stream channels that reduce streambank erosion, improve water quality, and reconnect stream channels to adjacent floodplain and riparian areas through the rehabilitation of approximately 1,900 linear feet of stream channels and tributaries, utilizing Natural Channel Design techniques; as well as the dredging of a stormwater management pond at the downstream limits of the project. All work is to be performed while the Greendale Golf Course remains open and operational throughout construction. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
