The City of Hampton, Hampton City Schools (HCS) and the Economic Development Authority of the City of Hampton (EDA) are seeking bids from qualified bidders to perform tree trimming and tree removal services on an on-call as needed basis. The successful bidder shall furnish all on-site supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to trim all species of trees and to remove dead or diseased trees and to assist the City of Hampton, HCS, and EDA in providing emergency tree services. Trimming of trees shall generally be conducted during the period of dormancy and shall be conducted in defined areas as described by the City of Hampton’s Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services (PRLS) Tree Maintenance Team Lead, HCS Operations and Maintenance authorized representative or EDA authorized representative. The removal of dead trees will generally be conducted during the growing season. Emergency services shall be provided upon the request of the City of Hampton, HCS or EDA. MBE goal 3.68%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
