Sealed bids for J & DR Courthouse Roof Replacement Project, will be received by the City of Lynchburg. The project will consist of the removal of approximately 74 squares of existing vegetative (green) roofing and rigid insulation down to the existing rubberized asphalt waterproof membrane. In addition, the removal of approximately 30 squares of existing roof pavers (with mortar) and rigid insulation down to the existing rubberized asphalt waterproof membrane. The existing rubberized asphalt waterproof membrane is installed over the existing metal or concrete roof deck of the courthouse. The existing rubberized asphalt waterproof membrane will be repaired as required if it is found to be damaged. New rigid polyiso insulation will then be installed over the existing rubberized asphalt waterproof membrane and a fully adhered TPO roofing system for the entire roof.
