The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain bids from qualified applicants to provide preventative maintenance and repair services on various City elevators and lifts throughout the City of Lynchburg, Virginia. The City of Lynchburg has 29 Elevators and 2 Wheelchair Lifts that are managed by the Buildings & Grounds Department. The elevators include: hydraulic freight, hydraulic passenger, roped hydraulic passenger, traction passenger and dumb waiter systems, as outlined in the Elevator Chart (page 26‐27 of bid documents).
