This contract provides for the improvement of the Middle Pilchuck River Restoration Project. This project will reconnect the right bank historical floodplain to the Pilchuck River, install engineered log jams (ELJs) as well as large woody material (LWM) on the floodplain and main channel of the Pilchuck River, and excavate to reconnect remnant swales of the Pilchuck River within the Project area floodplain. The primary goal of the Project is to increase and improve rearing, foraging, and in-stream habitat for Chinook salmon, steelhead, bull trout, other salmonid species, and other work. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
