The scope includes the renovation and alterations to the Science Labs in the T-Building on the Columbia Basin College campus. Consisting of approximately 7,800 square feet of existing office and classroom space, the area will be renovated to provide: 1. Tenant Improvement to update finishes and add or replace lab equipment and casework in two instructional spaces (T134 and T235). 2. New Projections screens and eye-wash replacement in three other instructional spaces (T153, T154, and T156). 3. Combining 2 small classrooms into a larger single classroom (T143 and T144), including adding new lab casework. 4. Finish and lighting upgrades in north-wing hallways and lobby. 5. Plumbing fixture replacements in T243 and T246. 5. Air-Handling Unit Replacement. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% Washington Small Business, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
