The City of Buckeye is seeking Bids from qualified contractors for the Broadway Road and Watson Road Intersection Improvements project. The City of Buckeyes Program Management Office is requesting a quotation to conduct intersection improvements for the Broadway Road and Watson Road intersection. The awarded Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the work. This project is located in the City of Buckeye. The improvements will reconstruct the intersection of Broadway Road and Watson Road and extend 1,140 feet west, 1,120 feet east, 800 feet south, and 1,430 feet north. The work consists of full-depth pavement reconstruction at the intersection, sawcut and widening improvements on the approaches; installation of curb and gutter; new storm drain and catch basin improvements; signing and pavement marking; a new traffic signal; relocated private and Roosevelt Irrigation District canals; sewer extension; street lighting and accompanying power service; signal interconnect conduit; and other improvements.

The base bid includes the installation of one speed cushion and one speed table as well as all signage and striping associated with these devices on El Mirage Road between End Street and Santa Fe Lane. This is to establish a two-year contract, with three one-year renewal options, for the inspection, service, testing, certification, and repair of City-owned elevators and lifts.

This is a continuing, multi-year inspection and assessment program during which the City plans to inspect and assess the condition of water transmission mains of varying material types throughout the conveyance system. The City has approximately 140 miles of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) mains and over 230 miles of reinforced concrete pipe, cast iron pipe, concrete cylinder pipe, ductile iron pipe, steel and other material types of water transmission mains with diameters of 16 to 108 inches, inclusive. The City has developed an integrated inspection prioritization plan that considers factors such as installation age, contiguous alignment, break history, and critical customers for inspection and assessment. The selected consulting team will review and build on this plan to provide ongoing program management. The contract duration will be for five years.

The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms to establish a contract for scheduled and as-needed maintenance of various types of palms throughout the City. The palms may be located in City parks, public rights-of-way and at City-owned properties and facilities. The awarded contractor is responsible for furnishing all materials, tools, supplies that include labor, equipment, and vehicles necessary to provide palm pruning and skinning services in accordance with the provisions specified herein. The purpose of this solicitation is to create a contract for the treatment and maintenance of the cooling towers and closed loop systems in the District. The Districts objective is to maintain all systems and ensure optimal operating condition, minimizing downtime caused by scaling, algae growth, or related maintenance activities. The services provided under this contract shall include all necessary labor and chemicals to effectively prevent the development of all forms of algae. The contractor must also be prepared to implement alternative treatment solutions if existing biocides prove ineffective due to resistance or changing conditions.
