Description

Total Small Business Set-Aside, 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The purpose of this contract is to replace damaged pavements on 3N17.7 Santa Clara Divide Rd and at the Bear Divide Fire Station within the Los Angeles Gateway Ranger District on the Angeles National Forest. This contract provides for equipment, labor, materials, services and permits necessary to perform work ordered by the Government, in compliance with its terms, specifications, drawings and provisions to pulverize all road sections called out and replace with HMA Caltrans in. max. Type A, PG 64-16 No RAP, and to install associated in kind pavement markings. Work will also consist of replacing and relocating a gate at the Bear Divide fire station as well as two sections of guardrail on 3N17.7 Santa Clara Divide. Santa Clara Divide Rd will be pulverized and 2 of Caltrans HMA will be paved over the new road base, except for the called-out Helipad area which will be 4 thick asphalt. The road drainages features should collect flow in a single point and discharge at the toe of the slope. Contractor may submit alternative Overside Drain Assembly drawings for consideration so long as it provides the equivalent or better drainage capacity.
