The Lynwood High School (4050 E Imperial Hwy, Lynwood CA 90262) Fields Renovation project consists of the modernization of the varsity baseball, softball, and multi-purpose fields, removal of natural turf, grading and sub-surface preparation, irrigation, and coordination of installation of Astroturf along with the construction of a new one-story team room and storage building. Improvements also include paving and walkway upgrades with new fencing and an entry portal, installation of stadium lighting for all fields, and the addition of four district-provided scoreboards and dugout shade structure canopies. Additional scope includes accessible path of travel improvements for the baseball and softball fields, accessible parking upgrades, and associated site utility work to support the overall sports complex enhancements. Selected contractors may be utilized for on-call maintenance and emergency mainline repair services. The Contractor must have qualified personnel available to perform excavation below grade and repair or replace damaged or defective piping systems. The Contractor shall demonstrate prior experience with water mainline repairs, roadway restoration, and traffic control, including proper delineation practices. Emergency repair work shall proceed continuously until completion unless otherwise directed by the City. The Contractor shall be capable of performing emergency mainline water repairs ranging from 1-inch to 30-inch diameter pipelines within City limits. At a minimum, the Contractor shall provide the following: A basic crew of four (4) workers, including one equipment operator, one driver, one foreperson/laborer, and one general laborer. Appropriate equipment, including but not limited to an excavator, truck, compaction equipment, trench box, trash pumps, walk behind saws, lighting, and necessary tools. Required materials, including but not limited to traffic control devices, work zone safety delineation, sediment and erosion control materials, buried utility warning tape, and other materials necessary for compliance with safety standards.

This project involves removing and replacing approximately 370 -lineal feet of 8-inch VCP sewer main with new 8 VCP. Works includes, installing three new manholes, removing one existing manhole, and reestablishing or replacing active sewer services.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals as specified and required for construction.
