Description

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has established a contracting opportunity to provide the following: A&E Line Interlock CM/GC under a construction manager/general contractor contract, as further described in this Request for Proposal. The A & E line interlock project consists of proposed upgrades and improvements, including the addition of interlocks and/or sidings, to the existing Light Rail Transit Metro A & E Line to allow crossovers and storage of train cars between existing stations. The A&E Line Interlock project will enable improved operations and provide additional safety measures for potentially faster, and more frequent and reliable LRT services for the existing Metro rail system in Los Angeles County.
