Description

The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of the construction of storm drain system improvements at Foster Road and Carfax Avenue as shown on the contract plans. The work to be performed generally consists of storm drain improvements including the removal of existing and installation of new piping; removal of existing and installation of new junction structures and catch basins; clearing and grubbing; trenching, backfilling and compacting; asphalt concrete (AC) pavement reconstruction; reconstruction of miscellaneous PCC improvements, landscaping, irrigation, and other existing improvements disturbed during the course of construction; traffic control; and all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, in accordance with Plans and Specifications entitled Capital Improvement Project No. 24-23.
