Description
The City of Montebello is seeking proposals from qualified contractors or firms to provide on-call annual street striping, pavement marking, and roadway legend services throughout the City. This initiative aims to ensure the Citys approximately 142 miles of public streets are clearly marked and maintained in compliance with traffic safety standards. The selected contractor will assist the City in preserving roadway safety, enhancing visibility of traffic control markings, and maintaining consistency with applicable federal, state, and local standards. In addition to routine striping and maintenance, the selected contractor will perform installation, repair, and replacement of traffic lane markings, crosswalks, stop bars, directional arrows, and other roadway legends. The contractor will also ensure that all work is performed in compliance with City standards, approved plans, and applicable federal, state, and local traffic safety regulations, while coordinating schedules to minimize disruption to traffic and ensure public safety.
