Description

The project entails removal of existing playground equipment, including foundations, and poured-in-place (PIP ) protective surface, removal parts of existing playground equipment, installing city-furnished playground equipment including new concrete foundations, installing new playground equipment replacement parts, removal and disposal of existing sand and sub-base material, placement of aggregate base material, grading and compaction, to accommodate placement of new poured-in-place protective surface, removal and replacement of concrete walkway, provide and install new PIP protective surface, provide and install temporary construction fence at Valley Park, Seaview Parkette and South Park in the City of Hermosa Beach per plans and specifications; and all other items of work necessary to complete the work per plans and specifications. Work also includes pick-up and loading of the city-furnished playground equipment from the City of Hermosa Beach Public Works Yard located at 555 6th Street, transporting, and delivering the equipment to the designated parks. Contractor shall retain the services of a certified playground inspector to inspect the installed equipment and provide to the city inspection reports and certificates of compliance.
