Description

The Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA), in cooperation and funding by METRO, VCTC, California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA), and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), proposed to rehabilitate the Pacific Surfliner Corridor on the Ventura County Line (SCRRAs Ventura Subdivision). The Ventura County Line serves Metrolink commuter trains (operated by SCRRA), Pacific Surfliner intercity passenger train (operated by Amtrak), Amtraks Coastal Starlight Trian (operated by Amtrak) and Union Pacific Railroad freight trains. The Construction Work may include the following categories: earthwork, culvert work, track work, Tunnel track work, traffic control planning and coordination with Union Pacific Railroad and its third-party contractors, SCRRA signal and communications contractor, SCRRA and SCRRA contracted employees.
