Description

The City of Pasadena Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services Seeks a vendor to provide pond maintenance services at The Gamble House. This maintenance will be inclusive of: Weekly periodic visits, Periodic cleaning of filters, Clearing intake basket, Removing debris from pump, Checking for proper pump operation, Trimming of water plants, Some algae removal (to keep under control: complete removal is not possible, nor healthy for system), Skimming and removal of floating debris, Water changes and replenishing, Inspecting fish, aquatic life and over-all health of pond, and Basic observation of water quality, determination/prediction of potential problems. In addition, work may include replanting aquatic plants as needed. Pricing for replanting must consist of labor and plant costs. All replanting work must be approved by City of Pasadena staff prior to work.
