Description

Phase I, 2026 Sewer Lining Project: Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment, services, and specialized skills to perform work involved in the Project. The Work included in the Bid is defined in accordance with Specification No. 3976 and Plan Nos. 3-1590 and 3-1595. The work generally includes: providing traffic control on residential, collector, and arterial streets; cleaning and preparation of existing pipelines; pre- and post-construction closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection; installation of sectional and full cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners in sanitary sewers; provision of sewage bypass, removal and replacement of interfering trees and plants; repair of appurtenances; and all other related work as shown on the project plans and specifications, Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (SPPWC 2021 Edition), and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2024 Edition), including all supplements thereto issued prior to bid opening date. Phase II, On-Call Sewer and Storm Drain Lining Services: Contractor shall dispatch and mobilize their resources necessary for on-call services within twenty-four (24) hours of notification by the City, unless otherwise directed by the Director or designee. The failure to dispatch on a timely manner will result the contract termination by the City per Paragraph 5.2, Termination by the City for Cause, of the General Conditions. The second phase of the work is on-call contract for Sewer and Storm Drain Lining Services. Contractor shall dispatch and mobilize its resources, including furnishing labor, materials, equipment, services, and specialized skills, within twenty-four (24) hours of notification by the City to perform sewer or storm drain repairs on an as-needed basis. The Work included in the Bid is defined in accordance with Specification No. 3976. The general sewer or storm drain work includes: providing traffic control on residential, collector, and arterial streets; cleaning and preparation of existing pipelines; pre- and post-construction closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection; installation of sectional and full cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners in sanitary sewers and storm drains; provision of sewage and storm water bypass, removal and replacement of interfering trees and plants; repair of appurtenances; and all other related work as needed and directed by the Director or his designee and as shown on the project specifications, Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (SPPWC 2021 Edition), and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2024 Edition), including all supplements thereto issued prior to bid opening date.
