Description

The work consists of the installation of a complete and fully operational traffic signal system at the intersection of Centennial Way and Eastbound (EB) / Westbound (WB) Huntington Drive in strict accordance with the approved project plans and specifications. The City will furnish the traffic signal poles, mast arms, luminaire arms, traffic signal ATC cabinets, controllers, EtherWan switches, battery backup systems, CCTV cameras, and video detection cameras, which shall be picked up, transported, and installed by the contractor. Pick-up locations of these items will be provided by the City prior to the start of construction. The contractor shall furnish and install all remaining materials and infrastructure required for a complete new traffic signal installation per the approved plans. Contractor-furnished items include, but are not limited to: concrete foundations, conduits, pull boxes, power pedestals, fiber optic cable, fiber termination panels, CAT6E cable, DLCs, loop detection systems, vehicle and pedestrian signal heads, APS, pedestrian push buttons, and all other miscellaneous hardware, conductors, and traffic signal related equipment.
