Description

The City of Alhambra is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for the planning, evaluation, design, permitting support, and construction support of a chlorination system improvement project at the Marengo Reservoir facility. The project includes replacement of the existing on-site chlorine generation system with a sodium hypochlorite storage and feed system, installation of reservoir mixing systems, water quality monitoring and control systems, and associated electrical, instrumentation, communication, and control system improvements. The scope also includes regulatory coordination and preparation of all documentation required for review and approval by the California State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water (DDW).
