Description
The City of Vernon is requesting proposals for a licensed and qualified general contractor to provide on-call general contractor for minor construction and repair services. The City will select one firm, based on demonstrated competence and a cost effective to provide on-call minor construction as needed and/or emergency repairs services. This RFP includes several trade areas that are commonly utilized by municipalities. The City of Vernon is seeking the services of a highly qualified general contractor to perform a full range of construction, maintenance and repair services, including but not limited to: Framing and Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Drywall, Millwork, Glazing, Ceramic and Mosaic Tile, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Roofing, Sheet Metal, HVAC, Flooring, Welding, Asbestos Abatement, Lead Abatement, Masonry, Concrete forming, Concrete finishing, and Landscaping.
