The City of Pasadena Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department seeks services to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the removal of two (2) existing wall mounted, height-adjustable basketball backboard systems and the installation of two (2) new electrically height-adjustable and side folding basketball backboard systems, complete and operational.

Demo 3 buildings, regrade area and build 4 buildings

This project will implement complete street treatments at pedestrian crossings near Alexandria Avenue Elementary School. The scope of work includes bicycle facilities, curb extensions, upgrade curb ramps to ADA standards, pedestrian refuge islands, landscaped median island, pedestrian lighting, continental crosswalks, signal and striping modifications, and tree planting/landscaping.

General work description: Replace sign panels.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete asphalt paving and related site improvements at Cherrylee School in accordance with the Contract Documents and District requirements. Work includes coordinating with the District to minimize disruption to school operations and other facility projects; providing traffic control, safety measures, and site protection; and complying with all applicable regulations. Playground Area Improvements (approximately 41,000 square feet): The Contractor shall sawcut, remove, and legally dispose of existing broken asphalt pavement to a depth of 3 inches. The Contractor shall furnish and install new 3-inch hot mix asphalt over prepared subgrade, including tack coat, compaction, and finishing to required grades and tolerances. Parking Lot Improvements (approximately 9,000 square feet): The Contractor shall break out and remove existing concrete steps and ramp as required. The Contractor shall grade the area, prepare and compact subgrade, and furnish and install 4 inches of aggregate base rock followed by 3 inches of hot mix asphalt. The Contractor shall furnish and install five (5) bollards, including all posts, footings, hardware, and complete installation. The Contractor shall also furnish and install approximately 252 linear feet of new concrete curb with an integral concrete swale along the property line on the school side of the existing fence. The curb shall begin at the edge of the field and extend to the sidewalk. The concrete swale shall match existing adjacent swale in profile and finish. Work shall include installation of 3-inch galvanized sleeves within the curb at locations designated by the District to accommodate future chain link fencing. The Contractor shall maintain a clean work site, remove all debris, and restore disturbed areas upon completion. At the Districts option, the Contractor shall furnish and install a solar reflective (cool pavement) coating by Streetbond (or equivalent) over the completed asphalt surface in Playground Area. The coating shall include all surface preparation, cleaning, and application in accordance with manufacturer specifications, and shall have a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI/SR) value no higher than 40. Work shall include protection of adjacent surfaces and re-striping as required. Contractor shall provide unit pricing per square foot for this optional work. Color to be determined by District.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform a complete and operational installation of Owner-furnished HVAC equipment at seven (7) separate school sites within the District. Full cut-in and installation of the equipment provided by the client: Contractor will handle the installation of the aforementioned equipment, which includes one outdoor condenser and two indoor sections provided by EMCSD. All additional parts, refrigerant gas, and labor required for the installation at four separate school locations will be supplied by Contractor. The Contractor will remove all debris and leave work areas clean upon completion.

The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing and installing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general items of work include but are not limited to, localized asphalt repairs, AC berm, slurry seal, signing and striping, and all other items not mentioned but indicated in the Plans and Specifications.

This project includes the removal of an existing retaining wall and the construction of a new retaining wall near the Pool House at William S. Hart Regional Park. The work also includes reconstruction of the reinforced concrete staircase associated with the retaining wall area. Historic elements intended for restoration include the handrail, flagstone, and plaster, in accordance with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

The work to be performed generally consists of potable water main improvements including the replacement of gate valves, butterfly valves, tees, solid sleeves, couplings, bends, thrust/anchor blocks, and fittings; and other associated facilities; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; trenching; trench plating; shoring; backfilling and compaction; asphalt concrete (AC) pavement reconstruction; reconstruction of miscellaneous PCC improvements; restoration of landscaping, irrigation, and any existing improvements disturbed during the course of construction; and all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications entitled Capital Improvement Project No. 26-01.

The work to be performed generally consists of potable water main improvements including the installation of new main, gate valves, tees, bends, thrust/anchor blocks, and fittings; installation of fire hydrant and blow-off assembly; installation of water service lines, meters (City Furnished), and boxes; and other associated facilities; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; trenching; trench plating; shoring; pressure/bacteriological testing; backfilling and compaction; asphalt concrete (AC) pavement reconstruction; reconstruction of miscellaneous PCC improvements; restoration of landscaping, irrigation, and any existing improvements disturbed during the course of construction; and all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications entitled Capital Improvement Project No. 26-02.

Total Small Business Set-Aside, 561710 - Exterminating and Pest Control Services. The Angeles National Forest Supervisors Office (ANF SO) is the headquarters to approximately 65 employees who assist with managing U.S Forest Lands on the Angeles National Forest. The Supervisors Office (SO) is approximately 24,515 square feet in size, mostly comprised of open office space (cubicles), twelve individual offices, four various size conference rooms, a kitchen, a gym, five restrooms, a lobby, a print room, and a few storage areas. Access into the building can be granted through any of the eleven exterior entry point, five of them being double swing doors, and one utility closet. The Los Angeles Gateway Ranger District Office (Little T District Office) includes a two-story office building which was built in 1968. The District Office (DO) has an approximate area of 4,582 square feet, which is comprised of one (1) kitchen, three (3) bathrooms, one (1) server room, one (1) print/mail room, a reception area (front desk), and eleven (11) individual offices. The DO houses approximately 46 employees who assist with managing U.S Forest Lands on the Angeles National Forest. Access into the building can be granted through any of the three (3) exterior entry point, with only the front door entrance being a double swing door entrance.

Pasadena Water and Powe, a department of the City of Pasadena, is inviting bids for the construction of a 25 Megawatt (MW) utility-scale lithium iron phosphate Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a minimum storage capability of four (4) hours to be constructed at PWP's Glenarm Power Plant location. Construction of the BESS Project must adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and protocols. This contract covers construction-only services, as the complete design and engineering documents have already been finalized and are included in this bid package. The selected contractor will be responsible for construction, equipment installation, wiring, termination and testing of their scope of work to deliver a fully operational BESS facility compliant within the contract. Contractors must demonstrate experience with Lithium-Ion Utility Scale Containerized Battery Projects or similar electrical infrastructure projects and be capable of delivering the project in compliance with all applicable codes, safety standards, and permitting conditions. Contractor shall be fully responsible for the construction execution, field coordination, local testing within the scope of this bid and completion of all work as defined in this specification and IFC documentation.

The Work encompassed by the Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but in general consists of, but is not limited to, the following Work: Providing all necessary supervision, labor, materials, equipment, machinery, and management required to complete the resurfacing of the Lynwood Natatorium pool. The project activities will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: Coordination with the Los Angeles County Health Department to ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements. Removal of the existing interior pool coating and finish through sandblasting. Replacement of any damaged or deteriorated pool tiles. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) seeks experienced Contractors, teams, and/or joint ventures (Bidders) capable of providing services for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Residential Sound Insulation (RSI) Project to sound retrofit eligible residential dwellings with typical modifications, which include, but are not limited to, replacement of existing windows and doors with acoustically-rated assemblies, insulation of attic spaces, finish and rough carpentry, exterior and interior plastering and painting, roof equipment platforms, installation of new ventilation unit, and electrical service upgrades.

The City of Carson, through its Public Works Department is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide the fabrication and replacement of street name signs throughout the City. The selected Contractor shall fabricate all street name signs in accordance with the Citys current branding guidelines and applicable requirements of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, hardware, and services necessary to fabricate new signs, replace existing signs, and as needed, install new signs and posts at the designated locations. All sign fabrication and installation shall reflect industry best practices and comply with CAMUTCD, Caltrans standards for roadway signing, and all City specifications.

City maintains approximately 16,000 trees throughout its nearly 10 square mile boundary. Contractor shall be required and responsible to perform, and complete all citywide tree maintenance work in a thorough and professional manner, and shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to complete the work in keeping with the Citys cycle and ad hoc pruning requirements and requests.

The City of Manhattan Beach is requesting proposals from professional Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) contractors for the overall maintenance and warranty of the Citys HVAC systems for all City properties. The full coverage maintenance shall be defined as the maintenance, adjustment, repair, and/or replacement of any part of the HVAC systems. This shall include, but not be limited to, any and all plumbing, wiring, control devices, sensors, boilers, chillers, compressors, thermostats, and ducting that are utilized for the HVAC systems. Lastly, the City is looking for an annual lump sum fee for the Citywide HVAC maintenance and warranty services.

The work to be done consists primarily of, but is not limited to, converting the existing space to a year round shelter with 127 beds along with new HVAC system, restrooms, warming kitchen, dining hall, and offices. Bids are required for the entire Work.
